The Passage Much Misunderstood

Much misuderstood Hebrews 6.
It has been said that Christians are the only ones that kill their wounded. People use the srcipture to kick people while they are down. Obviously, this is not in the spirit of Jesus Christ. The letter of the words kills, the spirit of the word gives life.

So if a person sins after they have been saved, they can never be renewed again?

It flies in the face of all scripture. It certainly flies in the face of the person of Jesus Christ. It that were the truth, there would be no saved Christians right now because every Christian I have ever met has indeed sinned after they have been born again. And anyone who says they haven't is a very big liar!

Burning
| | |
Joe average Christian today reads the phrase about being burned and immediately thinks of the fires of hell. But the people in the biblical times this was written think about the burning of their fields. Anyone in the agricultural community knows that it's a good thing to burn your fields because you put nutrients back into the soil. You can burn up the thorns and thistles, but it doesn't destroy the ground.
