As I mention on another page - "brush with greatness"
as Lettermen would say - I happened across Rollye one day at
the Franklin Mills Mall after I had seen Saving Private Ryan
at the movie theater.
Anyway, she sent me a lovely note on the back of her picture
and this "form" letter:
Rollye goes national September
11th 2000!
Monday - Friday 10P - 1A (eastern time)
...hopefully on a station near you soon! Okay, this is bad.
Not the going
national part - the fact that I waited forever to reply to you and
then
had to use a form letter to do it... and then, didn't send it out.
So enclosed is the original form letter which will update you through
May, and then this one which should be particularly interesting if
you're
not in the Philadelphia area and want to hear me.
(Yes that's right, I have the nerve to mail you not one, but two form
letters. You'd think I was running for office or soliciting for
a charity
or something. But clearly if I wait to write individually, you'll
never
hear from me - and about that, I can hear some of you saying... 'So?')
end of quote
